65 to 200 million years ago
In July 1944 Waldemar Julsrud, a German hardware merchant from Acambaro, Mexico, was riding his horse on the lower slope of El Toro (The Bull) and spotted some partially exposed hewn stones and a ceramic object half buried in the dirt. Over the years a total of 33,700 figurines were uncovered. The figurines depicted hundreds of different dinosaurs, extinct ice age animals, people from all over the world. For a detailed story on the discovery, investigation, scientific and cover-up, read Dr. Dennis Swift’s article "The Dinosaurs of Acambaro" - Highly Recommended.
The established scientific community has pretty ignored the evidence. The following quote is from EvoWiki which sums up the established theory on the subject. "There is no credible information to support the claims. The only sources are pseudoscience journalists, creationists, and crackpots, who have obvious ulterior motives for gullibility. Their own dating results are discordant with each other and with the ages of the native cultures, and even attempting to do carbon dating on the inorganic figurines shows their incompetence."
A thorough investigation of the figurines reveals that they are authentic. The vast number, artistic quality and anatomical accuracy of the figurines implies authenticity. In addition, the eyewitness accounts of those involved with the original digs as well as more recent digs support this. The scientific dating methods of the figurines has given results between 3,000 and 6,000 years old. Either the dinosaurs and ice age animals survived into this time period or the figurines are much older than the dating methods indicate.
There can be no mistaking these figurines. They are accurate depictions of long extinct animals and dinosaurs, formed by man. It is only doctrinal bias that would cause one to question this. If dinosaurs had become extincth 65 million years ago then the creators of these figurines would have to have been contemporaries.
Note: Below are the persons, according to Dr. Dennis Swift’s article, who have been involved in the investigation and dating of the figurines. These individuals were identified as pseudoscience journalists, creationists and crackpots according to EvoWiki.
